Labels by market
- United States: fibre content, country of origin, the manufacturer or dealer name or registered identification number, and care instructions under the FTC textile and care labelling rules. Children’s products also need tracking labels.
- European Union: fibre composition using the fibre names of Regulation (EU) 1007/2011, in the language of each country of sale. Care symbols are voluntary but expected.
- United Kingdom: fibre composition as in the EU rules retained in UK law.
- Russia, Kazakhstan, Belarus: Russian-language label with composition, care, size, manufacturer and importer under TR CU 017/2011 (TR CU 007/2011 for children), plus the EAC mark once your declaration is issued.

What is the minimum for private label thermal underwear?
100 pieces per style with your neck label, size label and poly bag. Custom woven labels, printed boxes and jacquard waistbands have their own supplier minimums, which we quote separately.
Do I need to design the labels myself?
Send your logo; we lay out the neck label, care label and hang tag to the rules of your market and send a proof to approve. If you have artwork already, we use it.
Which labels are legally required?
It depends on the market. The US needs fibre content, country of origin, the manufacturer or dealer identity and care instructions. The EU needs fibre composition using the names in Regulation 1007/2011 in the language of the country of sale. Russia, Kazakhstan and Belarus need Russian-language labelling under TR CU 017/2011. We print the right set for your market.
Can you put a barcode on each piece?
Yes: UPC or EAN on the bag or hang tag, Amazon FNSKU labels, marketplace barcodes, and Chestny ZNAK DataMatrix codes for Russia when your product requires marking.
